Raffles Hotel
Singapore, Singapore
Opened in 1887, Raffles Hotel is Singapore's most iconic building and one of the last grand colonial hotels in the world. The Long Bar claims to be where the Singapore Sling cocktail was invented in 1915. Its white colonnaded facade, lush tropical courtyard, and Tiffin Room have hosted Somerset Maugham, Noel Coward, and Charlie Chaplin.
